Working Time Records
The purpose of the Working Time Records module is to monitor the working hours of all employees in the company, eliminating the need for traditional tracking methods, e.g., in spreadsheets. At the end of the month, all working hours are imported into the payroll calculation, thus saving time on both ends (tracking employees’ working hours and filling in payroll calculations), while also providing significantly greater clarity.
What is possible within the Working Time Records module?
The Working Time Records module can be used independently, without other modules (+ the Address Book module, without which no other module can operate). However, full effect is achieved through synergy with the Payroll module. Namely, all working hours recorded throughout the month for employees can easily be imported into the payroll calculation, thereby simplifying the payroll process at month-end.
The Working Time Records module allows you to maintain all fields legally required, but also to create additional ones if your business has specific needs. It is possible to create working-time groups and assign these same groups to employees, so that their working time is automatically pulled into the records, significantly reducing your workload. You can select multiple employees at once and automatically fill the desired column with the selected number of working hours (e.g., in case of a production stoppage, all employees can be selected and the required number of hours entered into the “Stoppage” column).
In order for all data to be automatically transferred with a single mouse click from the Working Time Records module into the payroll calculation at month-end, and for the payroll calculation to be generated as a result, it is necessary to verify the accuracy of the data and lock the desired days in the month.
Additionally, this module offers the possibility of exporting data to other (external) systems, as well as importing data into 4D Wand.
